Did you have a dream when you were a child but somewhere along the way you lost it? Ever think that you’ll never have that dream? Yea, me too. What if I told you that you can have that dream? That it’s not too late. You may think I’m crazy, but after laying down my brushes for 12 years, I finally dusted them off to make something happen.
It started with a storm of life that turned into a therapeutic challenge and it became the fuel I needed to dream and breathe life into a dusty corner of my soul. Losing a loved one to cancer hits a depth within you that you never knew existed; but, I exchanged beauty for ashes in my painting.

I went to school for art in college but then got burned out and frustrated in my senior year. I stumbled into photography and became a wedding photographer for 10 years, laying down my brushes in exchange for a DSLR. When covid hit, my business shut down.
In 2022, my stepmom passed away suddenly from cancer and I picked up my brushes as a means of therapy.
When my son started pre-school I decided to go back to school also. I finished my BFA in May.

Of course I can! We can sit down and come up with a theme/idea for a custom piece. You choose the size, and supply references of what you’re inspired by and I’ll create something inspired by those references.

I work primarily in oil, acrylic and watercolor paint. I also do murals and have been scratching the surface in printmaking.
